Looking for a great job? AM Radio stations, WLCC and WMGG are looking for a Promotions Director. This exciting and challenging role will work with sales and programming to further the stations' market position through concert events, special promotions, on-air giveaways and other offsite events. - Schedule and maintain station promotional calendar
- Oversee and schedule all station off-premise events including remotes, van hits, promotions and festivals
- Assign talent for off-site events, ensuring that said events do not conflict with talent's on-air responsibilities.
- Oversee execution of all station promotions and giveaways
- Oversee use and maintenance of all station vehicles
- Oversee use and maintenance of all promotional equipment
- Oversee all drivers and supporting promotional staff including the continuance and growth of the station's intern program
- Maintain and advance all station relationships including local press, local chambers, clients, non-profit organizations as well as station vendors.
- Manage EEO efforts with the community including job fair attendance and other recruitment events
- Any other duties as assigned by Management
- Background in radio promotions.
- Bilingual English/Spanish. Must be fluent in both languages.
- Understand the uniqueness of the Hispanic community.
- Fast-moving, multi-talented, organized and capable of juggling multiple projects.
